Of course, there are plenty of creative and enjoyable ways to showcase and keep your children's artwork without it taking over your living space. Below are five unique ideas:

Set Up a Rotating Art Wall: Pick a few favorite pieces and dedicate a wall where the artwork can easily be switched out. Consider using clipboards, frames with easy-access backs, or even a string with clips for a dynamic and evolving display.

Transform Art into Personalized Gifts: Turn their masterpieces into custom gifts for loved ones. Scan or photograph the art and print it onto items like mugs, bags, or shirts. Many online services offer easy ways to do this.

Create a Digital Photo Book: Scan or take pictures of their art, then compile it into an online photo book, either by year or theme. It’s a great way to preserve their artwork while keeping everything neat and organized.

Design a Collage or Quilt: For a larger project, choose several artworks to create a framed collage. Alternatively, you can have their drawings printed onto fabric squares and sew a quilt if you're into crafts.

Make an Art Puzzle or Game: Convert their drawings into a fun activity by turning them into a puzzle or memory game. You can print the art onto puzzle pieces or create matching cards for a memory game—an enjoyable way to relive their creativity.

In addition to these creative ideas, consider setting up a dedicated "art zone" at home. This could be a corner where children can freely create and store their new pieces. A simple shelving unit or art cart with bins can help them organize their supplies and finished artwork. Another great idea is to label each piece with the date and a short title, turning their art into a personal gallery with stories behind each creation.

These ideas can help you treasure their creative work while keeping your home clutter-free and organized!

Step 6: Move Toward Buckingham Palace

10:57 am: The band will play at the Barracks and lead the New Guard toward Buckingham Palace.

  • Follow the band and the New Guard, staying to the right as they approach the Queen Victoria Memorial. When the band turns left, circle the Memorial on the right side and climb a few steps to reach the path back to The Mall.
  • Cross to the north side of The Mall and take the first left toward Clarence House. Wait near the entrance for the next part of the procession.

Step 7: Watch the Ceremony

11:00 am: The old and new guards will meet at the gates of Buckingham Palace. Typically, music accompanies the exchange as the old guard hands over the keys to the new guard.

Step 8: Proceed to Clarence House

11:10 am: A part of the New Guard will depart from Buckingham Palace and march toward Clarence House.

  • For a good view of the changing guard at Clarence House, position yourself near the chain barrier (crowds are usually smaller here).

Step 9: Follow the Old Guard

11:25 am: The remaining Old Guard will leave Clarence House and return to Buckingham Palace.

  • If you’re lucky, you might catch the cavalry making their way along The Mall. Make sure you have enough time to return to Wellington Barracks by 11:40 am.
  • Retrace your steps back to Wellington Barracks or follow the New Guard's route from step 6.
  • This time, cross Birdcage Walk and position yourself near Spur Road, offering a clear view of Victoria Memorial.

Step 10: Return to Wellington Barracks

11:40 am: The Old Guard will depart Buckingham Palace and follow the band back to Wellington Barracks.
